Saturday, August 5 – 20th Annual OROC OutRun Ovarian Cancer 5K Run/Walk

OROC’s 20th Annual 5K Run/Walk is taking place next Saturday, August 5th at Voinovich Park at the 9th Street Pier.

The 20th Annual run/walk starts at 9:30 a.m. There is also a one-mile family run/walk that starts at the same time. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and is followed by a Celebration Rally, Survivors’ Tribute, and Survivor Group Photo and Team Award Photos. There will be an awards ceremony at 9:30 a.m. following the 5K.

OROC is a nonprofit organization that raises money for ovarian cancer awareness, research and education. The organization began in 2003 and since that time, OROC events have allowed the organization to donate over $2 million for research and education in Northeast Ohio.
