The Cleveland Garlic Festival is set to return on August 24-25, 2024, at the North Union Farmers Market. This two-day event promises a pungent celebration of all things garlic, featuring an array of culinary delights, entertainment and family-friendly activities.

The festival runs from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 24th and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday. This is the main fundraising event for North Union Farmers Market. This organization helps provide nutritious food to those who are receiving WIC or SNAP benefits and seniors in the local area.

What Garlic Festival Attendees Need to Know

If you are planning on attending, there are several things you need to know:

  • Event organizers recommend purchasing tickets in advance. You can buy tickets online as we get closer to the event.
  • No dogs are allowed at the festival.
  • The festival has a wide range of activities, including:
    • Top Chef Grill Offs
    • Miss Garlic 2024 competition
    • Garlic Fries stands
    • Ohio Craft Beer tasting
    • Live music and entertainment, including On The One, Fatback Mango, Brent Kirby, Gruve Tonic, Mo’ Mojo, Blackout Rose, Strum and Strummer and Xcetera
    • Mighty Locavores Kids Area featuring Flower Clown and an inflatable obstacle course
  • Don’t miss the Garlic Gourmet Alley and various cooking competitions, including grass-fed beef, free-range chicken, pasture-raised pork and vegetarian garlic cook-offs.
  • Over 50 vendors will be present, offering everything from garlic-infused products to local crafts and specialty foods.
  • Craft beer and wine: A dedicated tent will feature offerings from local breweries and wineries, including Three Sips Brewing, Collision Bend Brewing Company, Goldhorn Brewery, Millersburg Brewing Company, The Brew Kettle

Remember to bring cash for vendors, wear comfortable shoes and come hungry.
