Friedman, Domiano and Smith Wins Platinum and Gold in 2023 Viddy Awards

We are excited to announce Friedman, Domiano and Smith won Platinum and Gold at the 2023 Viddy Awards, a competition that honors video excellence in a variety of categories. Platinum is the competition’s top award.

Our firm submitted three videos:

• 2023 Platinum Winner “Avoid The Maze of Law” – The video explains that the legal process can make injured individuals feel like they are being victimized all over again. Friedman, Domiano and Smith helps guide victims through the maze of the legal process.
• 2023 Gold Winner “Fighting For You” – The video shows a sped-up illustration of a damaged car, followed by an illustration of an ambulance. It ends with the firm name and the phrase “Fighting For You.”
• Honorable Mention “A Child’s Perspective” – The video is narrated by a young child who explains that after his mother and father were injured in an accident they called Friedman, Domiano and Smith. “They made things better,” the young narrator says, “so maybe they can make things better for you too.”

Winning Platinum or Gold in this competition is a tremendous accomplishment. Just 21 percent of entrants won Platinum and 20 percent won Gold. Another seven percent of entrants received Honorable Mentions.

The Viddy Awards began in 1994, when it was called the Videographer Awards. It is an international competition that awards excellence in digital video.

Entries in the competition are submitted by various sources, including:

• Cable companies
• Broadcast television
• Video production companies
• Public relations firms
• Advertising firms
• Corporate communications
• Individuals

Submissions come from a wide variety of people, including videographers, writers, directors, digital artists, account executives, influencers and others.

This competition is done by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. It is judged by professionals in the industry. They look for people and companies who show a high standard of excellence and do work that is a benchmark for the industry.
